Background
In the event of the global pandemic which hit in 2020 and London was in lockdown during the new year celebration. It meant no one could go outside to celebrate the new year as per normal and all big crowd events were cancelled.
Project
I wanted to capture the stark difference a year makes, taking normal celebrations and reflecting lockdown rules in the puddle with no one allowed outdoors and lack of firework display, creating for a quiet
non-celebratory atmosphere.
